Supermarket music research reported in Financial Times

A research study based on large scale field experiments in supermarkets, complemented with several lab studies shows that sales goes up when music is played on weekdays but not on weekends. The research was undertaken by Carl-Philip Ahlbom, Anne Roggeveen, Dhruv Grewal and Jens Nordfält – all from the retail lab.
